Hey NoDoze, yep

Hey NoDoze, yep, you will.

I had a few discussions with some Dev team members about the VM Win XP Mode, and they stated that the best upgrade process for the base is to Uninstall vm , upgrade then re-Install.
You can find a lot about the VM XP on the TechNet forum and blogs. (so far its {win 7 and vm-xp} not that impressive to me yet).

Just a question that comes to mind: I suspect changes in Windows 7 to be minimal at this point, could most of the changes in this build be with the installer/upgrader? Has this been tested and compared to previous releases?

I hear that, come around oct.22 there will be a bunch of upgrading going on. I have been told that I can not upgrade my pre-release Windows 7 to a final release upgrade version of win 7 home. Can't do it no way, have to clean install. I just don't know about that after upgrading from 7100 to 7201 seems like it can be done. lm

Windows 7 Build 7600|16384- 64bit

I wouldnt want to upgrade anyways to Retail. I want all that beta, dev code out of my computer and not have the chance of it not being upgraded correctly. As for the newest builds, they all use the RC EULA, so as far as the installer goes, they will probably only make it so you can see all the editions with out the edited file, update the EULA, and that is probably it. They will probably change the wallpapers along with some other tweaks, but i believe we are getting close, since MS said themselves RTM in next month.

Why ?
Because the cxavsvid.sys is blocked by Microsoft Windows 7 x64 build 7201 or later (Error Code 48).

Try this driver:
