    get windows7 with XP explorer

    Is there a way to go to the Windows Explorer like in XP?
    When you clik folders in the left panel, you get a tree with subfolders.
    It makes it easy to drag and drop.

    How to Explore from 'My Computer':
    * Right-click Windows Explorer and choose Properties
    * Put the following line in the Target text box
    * %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /root,::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}
    * Choose the drive you want to open
    * Under Organize choose your layout preference
    * Close the Window; next time you open the Window it shoul be as you left it

    Hello paris75 Welcome to the Seven Forums!

    Navigation Pane - Show All Folders

    One fast way to see the folder navigation pane visible in Windows Explorer is seen in the image attached below. While having an explorer window open go to the "menu bar>Tools>Folder options>General" tab and make sure the "Show all folders" box is checked off under Navigation pane at the bottom.

    Note where the arrow points to on the right side there.
