My Windows 7 can't read Chinese words

Help, my Windows 7 can't read Chinese word. I just downloaded a game but when I install it. Come out all is "?" instead of the Chinese words. Help~

mckillwashere, I opened the Windows Updates but I can't find the Chinese language packs. Where do I find them?

yowanvista, so I just download the language pack that I want from there and install? Is there anything that I need to do or is there any tutorials?
