I bought the app ($15 CAN, roughly $13 US) and am now helping to Beta test DF on Windows 7 - it is a beautiful app. And, since it is free (you are not *forced* to buy the paid version) I'd suggest you give it a shot. If you like it enough, contact the author about wanting to help Beta test on Windows 7 and buy the software and he'll email you pretty quickly (usually within 24 hours).
