disable journal on a partition? help

i run windows 7 ultimate 32bit

i have a partition with mp3 and some video

everytime windows 7 boots create a journal on a partition

i gave the command fsutil usn deletejournal /n J:

but everytime i boot windows 7 it make it again

i have other partitions but windows 7 did create a journal , w7 in the past days kept only 1 journal and in the partition where i have w7 installed

help please

According to this, you can't prevent it: VolumeActions - DeleteJournal

If you delete it, Windows recreates it.

Why do you want to delete it? It's not a very large file. On my C: drive, fsutil usn queryjournal c: shows max size to be Maximum Size: 0x0000000002000000 (bytes) which is a bit over 33MB.

thanks a lot

but i always had this file in my C:

but recently windows 7 started to made in my J: partition
a partition with only mp3 and some video
can' undertstand why it stared few days ago to create this file
i'm sure some days ago it did not

Are you sure? I have one on each of my partitions/drives?

fsutil usn queryjournal x: (for me, x can be c through g)
