Speech-recognition

I just started using the speech-recognition software in W7 and it seems to work quite well with dictation but I'm having a little problem using it with firefox is there any tutorials on using speech-recognition with firefox and other software?

What I would like to be able to do is control my PC on the TV with this voice recognition software while I'm sat on the sofa, using a bluetooth headset I don't know if it's going to be possible but I'm going to give it a try anyway.

Also when I do that to training for speech-recognition a presume he creates the profile is their way to back up this profile so I don't have to do the training over again.

Do you realise that if you are listening to music or have any kind of background noise it confuses the heck out of speech recognition? I also use a bluetooth headset, and if it is completely silent around me then it all works properly, but it seems my headset is extremely sensitive to any background noise.

EDIT: I am still trying to find a song that has 'format hard drive' in the lyrics!

So far Ive not been able to find either of my chargers for my bluetooth headsets so I have not been up to try it yet,
I have found firefox and other software like VLC media player dosent work that great with speech recognition which is a shame because speech recognition seems to work really well for dictating and picks up how you say certain words very quickly,
I would have thought it would have been easy enough to implement a learn feature where you could record button clicks and give them a vocal name so you could teach speech recognition what "play" or "pause" is in VLC player,
you could also teach it the names of tabs in firefox or in fact anything i guess, i really cant see it being that hard and im a bit suprised MS hasnt already done it.
at the moment i dont think controlling the pc with speech really works that well, but it could.

try saying numbers, then pick the number for difficult software!

showing numbers dosent work if your watching something in full screen in VLC even if it did work it would still be a lot easyer and quicker to be able to say pause or play,
same with firefox,
if i want to start a new topic i can write in the title topic but you then cant get into the box to write your post and ive not been able to get SR to go to the address bar either,
there's other things as well but cant think what they are right now but all these things should be easily sorted out with a learn function and with a learn function and a little time i think it would be quite easy to have full controll over the pc with voice commands.

You can also use Voice Finger to click any button with just one command. Voice Finger is an add-on you install on top of Windows 7, and enables you to click anywhere on the screen often with just one command.
