    win7 versions

Ive been trying to find information on these new builds of win7. specifically i was wondering if someone could tell me the difference between the 7100, and 7200 versions of the os. i see they've kinda split off into to different lines. like 7137, and 7201 ive been running 7100 for a while and see that a few new versions have been released. just thinking of doing a new install and was wondering before i download. thax for any info

Thats cool. i was kinda curious as to why they forked like that. cant decide whether to install 7137 or 7201. im sure there cant be that much of a difference. but if one has just a couple more bug fixes. that's the one i want.

New branch. Headed for RTM. Generally speaking the later build will be better, but as you can see you can have a problem with a new build that wasn't there for you in an older build. Depends on what you do and what programs/hardware you run. Only way to really know is to try them out. These are test builds after all. If you have space on your HDD, I'd recommend creating another partition and dual booting. Then you can try it out without losing anything but some time. Info here if needed: Dual Boot Installation with Windows 7 and Vista
This is for Vista and 7 but same steps. If you have questions, you know where to find us.
