LowLevel Keyboard Hooks No Longer Work

I've found several entries on this topic but nothing that gives a clear cut "per application" solution. I have a single application (form) that when opened from a Windows Service needs to disable most hot key scenarios. We are collecting safety information and they must reply to the form.

I found some awesome code that works like a champ to hook (atl+tab, etc...) in the XP world. However, as we start to migrate to W7...most of those low-level hooks still work with the exception of Alt+Tab. Because of Aero the alt+tab must be being grabbed by IE first?

I can't use a registry solution as this would be global. The hook needs to only be in place while the form is active and then the hook should go away....as I do now when running on XP...which again works great....Thx.

I'm not sure I follow...are you referring to some windows level API that I could invoke to turn them on or off? I would doubt it...the C# code I found that works fine in XP is using several interop dlls and implements a low-level keyboard hook

Or could develop the application in a way that does not require such things? Just saying.
Or maybe I just don't understand why the application needs to be so fragile.

What does change the OS mean? I thought this was a forum where people could post questions and get answers..."Change the OS" is not something I expect from a "Gold Member", "Supporter", and "Seven Guru"...

I stumbled on to this forum and I'll stumble off...thank you for your incoherent and completely irrelevant answers.
