How to set cursor on password field on login

    How to set cursor on password field on login


    Is there a way to automatically position the cursor on the password field after reawakening from the screensaver ? It is a PITA having to always position the mouse cursor to the password field.

    Depends on the mouse, etc. How about some specs?

    Just hit the Tab button. It's either once or twice, I can't remember, but that's how I log in as well without using the mouse to position the cursor over the login box.

    Win 7 should take care of that. You shouldn't have to.

    Neither XP or Vista or 7 have automatically entered into the login box when waking from screensaver mode when you have the Welcome Screen enabled.

    Alternatively, I suppose you could try to enable Fast User Switching as that defaults to the password box every time:
