I have win 7 home, but xp in my work. I do a lot of screenshot and then paste them in paint to modify. I hate win xp paint and love win 7 paint. How can i get it for xp ?

Ive tried Paintribbon but when you open it and the paste a screenshot it bothers with the size and stuff.

I concur with the above two posts. Paint.NET is definitely your best bet.

Whereas I like the interface of the Windows 7 Paint, I find that there is one annoying feature when compared to the XP version. If you wish to modify an image, and you magnify the necessary section(s) and turn the grid lines on, you will find that the pixels and gridlines line up in the XP version, making editing relatively easy. Unfortunately, in the Windows 7 version, they do not. I wish they would.

That said, you should find either Paint.net or The GiMP suitable choices.

What are the odds you can get 4 Guru's to agree on anything.
