Auto hide Taskbar not working

Ive noticed just recently that even though i have it set to Auto hide its not.
Is there any other way of forcing it to stay as it should?
Ive tried turning it off and then on and it works for a short time then gets stuck on again.
Im using 7201 x86.

Cheers.

Wow, not working here on 7201 x86 either.
Maybe a bug...

Here is a screen...

The screen will go down like it's supposed to but then it'll come right back up.
Weird

I was thinking along those lines and will investigate that tonight.
The only thing i can think might be causing it is DU meter as thats the last thing i have installed. I might take that out and see what happens.

@orbital. Not really odd as loads of people are having various problems with this (and all) OS's. Its down to the individual configuration i expect.
What works for some doesn't work for others. Not ideal but par for the course.
My biggest issue (and this will force me to abandon Windows 7 this week) is i keep looseing video. Tried everything but after a ceratin amount of time (hours not mins). In Safe mode it SEEMS to be ok but each morning i wake up and the only thing i can do is to re boot. Not good fo rany apps that were working overnight.
XP was working fine and im now wondering why i bothered with Windows 7, as much as i love it.

I run DU Meter 3.5 and it works fine, so does the auto-hide.

Yeah, it was just a thought.
I notice when i set auto hide to on or off the screen icons jump in to place so it seems like the setting is being made and program windows act correctly.

Well i checked the notification areas and i noticed Nokia PC suite was still sitting there. closed the program and now the Taskbar seems to be hiding as it should.
So thanks all but special thanks to Roberto for the suggestion.

Dave.

Its somethin gi did look in to but as none were flashing or looked like they needed attention i didnt think that was the answer.
I should have guessed it would be a useless pice of software causing it.
I've only used the Nokia stuff a couple fo times at home and it shouldnt have even been open.
