If you copied over something by mistake?

Ctrl+Z (Undo) also usually works. (Ctrl+Y (Redo).

CALA, it would help to know in which program/app you copied and pasted your info, so that we could give you the most accurate answer. In MS Word, you would just keep hitting the back (undo) icon until you got back to the one you want to change. Although once you've saved it and closed the file, you can't do that any longer.
