Build 7000 Desktop Gadgets

If someone could try this feature out and let me know I'd appreciate it. When I try to open Desktop Gadgets nothing happens, the gallery will not open and thus I am not able to use the gadgets...

Thanks!

Might try this. Type 'gadgets' no quotes in the search bar at the bottom of the start menu. Try desktop gadgets and see if it opens. If not try 'restore desktop gadgets installed with windows'. I haven't tried it as I have not had a problem, so please post back with the results.

Welcome to the forums.

Thank you Gary, I think I found the answer. I turned off UAC and apparently you need a certain level of UAC in order for Desktop Gadgets to work. I have not had a change to boot back in to Win 7 to try this, but I'm sure thats the issue.
