I cannot delete a folder b/c of TrustedInstaller

When I try to delete the normal way i get an error msg that says I need permission from TrustedInstaller. I get the same msg if I try to rename any of the files in this folder. I booted into safe mode and I get the same thing. I also used Revo Uninstaller and it looked like it worked, but the folder & files were still there. I also tried to delete in command prompt mode and got a "permission denied" message. I then clicked on the folder, then properties>security>edit. I got an access denied message. I also tried to delete TrustedInstaller in the list of users and got the access denied message. How do I delete this thing?

.... If something is owned by trusted installer it is there for a reason.. Its normally best not to mess with it.

Trustedinstaller is the owner of those folders. They are critical system folders. I can see no reason why one would want to delete them. Be very, very, careful, here, as you could turn your PC into a very expensive paperweight with the click of a mouse. (Please don't ask me how I know!)
