I use Acronis True Image to make full backups of my system. It allows for a full backup to an external drive or cloning of one disk to another. I have had very good luck with it.

This free one is like version 10. It's good, but you no doubt have a newer version with more features

Recently upgraded to version 11, better integration into Windows 7 but I miss the UI of 10.

My friend has it, and I just want know it has an option Drive to Drive so you clone it but I want to know how does this program clone your HD wile you are still using some of the program and services?

Good question, I guess only a software engineer or an extreme level geek could break down the nuts and bolts of it. But I can say it is a quick process. Backup about 9 min, recovery to a clean disk about 15.

Don't know what you mean by "none of this looks like a definite chance"? But all the programs I listed will clone a hard drive, which is what I thought you wanted?
