The "Window Close" stutter issue...

I tried searching for this... but without the correct word to use (stutter) im sure others call it something different.

Anyway, On all 3 of my computers that I have Windows 7 (Both while in Beta and RC) whenever a window is "X'ed" out, it stutters before fading away. Where as in Vista it would be smooth as silk.

This is the only real issue I have from Using 7 RC full time. I have tremendous OCD and this little stutter gives me the impression that my computer is slow and or not working properly (because I have OCD)

Anyway, does anyone else have this issue? Is there a resolution? Am I seeing things?

Extra Info... Machines I am using all have 7 RC 1 on there now. (Tried both 32 & 64 bit versions)
Video Drivers I have tried were all official and beta drivers that have came out between the release of the 7 Beta through current.
Comp 1) Intel Q9550/4GB DDR2 800/NVidia Chipset w/9400 OnBoard Video (512MB Shared)
Comp 2) Intel i7 920 @ 3.8/6GB DDR3 1600/2x NVidia GTX 285's SLI 1GB
Comp 3) Intel i7 920 @ default/6GB DDR3 1600/ATi Radeon 4650 512MB

I would call mine a fade. It looks like it's minimizing but it closes. There is nothing wrong with your computer. This is how it works in wondows 7 (at least on my rig too)

You could always disable windows animations by doing the following:

Right-click 'Computer' then goto 'Properties' click 'Advanced system settings',
then under 'Perfomance' (on the 'Advanced' tab) press 'Settings' & untick 'Animate windows when minimizing and maximizing.

EDIT: (This will disable ALL fading from windows all together though!)

I think it's a windows bug because it happened on all builds I tried with allot of different drivers.Happens on Nvidia and Ati cards.
Maybe we should warn Microsoft about this so they could fix it.I'm sure a small patch could do the job trough windows update

I believe it was redesigned that way, feels like a "snap to" animation
