    custom left-click menu items

    W7
how do I place a left-click system wide menu item?

example: I'd like to be able to 'open highlighted content in the editor of my choice'.

    thanks,

    Jim

I don't understand what you mean with left click.
I highlite a file, right-click it and pick "Open with Notepad ++" (or any other editor I chose to set up for this)

well, my thought was that a custom user menu could be constructed to show with a left click.
the left click is generally the selection button,
so this is a stupid idea.

or, perhaps a stupid direction for a good idea.

how can I design custom menus for the right click?>
    starting with empty fields?
then, at the beginning of a targeted session, I can choose my own MouseAmmo.

must the active window always control what will show up (or not) on the right click menu?

as soon as I figure out how, I'm going to have a six shooter hot and cold.

    thanks,

    Jim
