Red square on my desktop

    Red square on my desktop


    I notice when I watch videos that I have downloaded, a big red square can be seen. Checked my desktop and it is not red, but I can still see it. Slight change in color. 2in thick top and bottom and sides. Middle is normal. Outside of square is normal. What is wrong.

    How do I do that? I tried Prtscn, but nothing happens.

    Use the Snipping Tool : Start Orb, and type "snip" in the search box. Draw a rectangle around the image, save, and then here in this thread do a reply, and attach the image.

    Sorry, can't see anything on that image. Could it be a monitor defect? Can you post another image, this time use a digital camera to capture what YOU actually see on the screen.

    I dont see a anything, just your desktop. What video player are you using?

    Dwarf : Eem by gum......isn't that Lancastrian?

    Sorry, I dont see it (just a blurred bald head).

    I think what is happening is that your media player is not in "focus" during the snip. Take a picture with a camera and post the inage here, as per Dwarf's suggestion.
