Evaluation or not ???

So I am running 7201 and when I look at this screen it does not say that it well expire in 2010, so what is up ???

type "winver" (without speachmarks) in start-menu's searchbox and use that winver.exe.

It catches quite a few ppl out does that.

Well it does say that it will expire when I run winver.exe, damn I wanted it to run forever, That shot was taken when you have a window open and click on Help then about.

It says the "evaluation" will expire on 3-1-2010 ... Sheesh! that took a while to load up

(overly large size .png file)

banderz777, none of these *builds* will run forever. You will eventually have to buy Win7 OS for it to run until it's lifetime is up.

HA HA Funny Girl, I get it, I know was just a question. and the overly large size .png better to look at.

jacee is a dude. im quite sure he has stated that before....

so while i was sleeping for 48 hours, we somehow managed to skip like 5 leaks and go straight to 7230? friggin sweet. i need some coffee. screw it i'll be back in 4 hours, hopfully it'll give me areason to get up today

I Installed SP1 and after some time on the bottom to the right its saying "Windows 7 Evaluation Copy Build 7601". I searched on another forums but they say that the sp1 beta is installed (and that is why it says that) But I installed SP1 RC.

I`ve got Win 7 Proffesional x64 on my mashine and the copy is legal and activated. But, after I installed SP1 in the lower right corner I got a Watermark that it`s Evaluation Copy of Win 7 7601. When i installed 7600-1385 i run "winver" and there is nothing stating its an evaluation copy, and it has no expiration date. Is this an "unlimited build"? :p
