New to Windows 7 I am an old guy who just replaced an XP desktop with a new clone running Windows 7 Ultimate x64. The desktop is plugged in to an otherwise wireless home network that previously was supported by the XP computer. The wireless system supports a notebook and a PVR. I had the computer manufacturer copy some files over from the XP, which will be recycled. I have had major problems with Windows 7. Particularly I have had to turn off multiple protections to allow my notebook to copy files to the Windows 7 machine. As of now I have limited access to a subdirectory called \Public which is somewhere on the Windows 7 machine. I suppose I will find it in due course. We have three identities on the Windows 7 machine. Here are the current problems.
1) I finally figured out how to copy Favorites to Outlook but it only copied some, why?
2) The text in Outlook is too small for some users. M says they are working on the problem?
3) How do users know which identity they are in at any point in time?
4) How do I post a new question on this forum?
5) When I search for my name on this forum, nothing shows up. What am I missing here?
Thanks
