WMP is my default player for DVD's and it always starts maximized.
Is it possible to make it not do that and just start at regular size?

Thanks

Welcome to SF!

Try this:

  1. Right-click on the WMP icon and choose properties.
  2. You'll notice a drop-down menu labeled 'Run'.
  3. Click that and choose how you want your program to start.

I did that and it's already set to "Normal Window".
My other options are "Maximized" and "Minimized".

Any other suggestions?

I don't use WMP so this is only a thought; are there setting within the program itself?
Or, what happens if you re-size the window; close it; then open it back up again; did maximize again?
There's a neat little utility called ShellFolderFix for Windows 7 the will cure 7's amnesia regarding window locations and sizes. Try that.
It works great for me and you can get it here: ShellFolderFix Remembers Window Locations in Windows 7 - How-To Geek

Good Luck!
