Scheduled Task via Group Policy Preferences.

Hi Guys,

I am having some issues with creating a scheduled task via group policy preferences.

The task is to run on an event to run a batch file. and will use the local SYSTEM account.

I receive the following erroro message in the event viewer when it tries to create the task:

0x80041318 "The task XML contains a value which is incorrectly formatted or out of range

This is the task XML file:

Code:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>

I have applied this preference to the computer configuration.

I have created this task manually and it works as expected but not viw group policy.

Any help would be appreciated.
