Just tested, when I delete a file, from a library, folder or search window, it's immediately deleted and vanishes from current window.

Refresh is found on Explorer context menu; just right click when in library or other Explorer window when nothing is selected and choose Refresh.

Thanks, Kari. In my search windows, or a particular folder, files disappear immediately upon deletion just as you have mentioned. However, not so in my "Library" folders, specifically, those with a large number of files. Actually, the same applies to searches with a large number of results.

Thanks for the input, Kari, always appreciated and, much respect.

whenever i have this random bug, a reboot fixes things and it goes back to normal behaviour. It happens so rarely that I can never work out why it happens, have you tried rebooting.

Sure. I reboot all of the time - well, to be fair, only when I have to. Especially today (see the security thread).

Same issue. This issue doesn't change on "searched" folders (which includes libraries) with a large number of files.

I suppose it could have something to do with the speed of my computer and the speed of the hard drive.

Either way, I don't really worry about it. Just a minor annoyance.
