    Windows 7 Boot Priority

    Hello, dear 7Forums.

I'm pretty sure this question has been answered before, but I'm too lazy to find it
Any-who, I've separated my hard drive in 2, one of them has XP and the other one has 7. Whenever I boot, this screen pops up and lets me choose whether I want to start Windows 7 or "Earlier version of Windows" (which is obviously XP). Now that I'm totally sure that Windows 7 rules, I want to start it right away. So tell me, how do I configure boot priority from Windows 7?

    Right-click on 'Computer', select 'Properties'.

Look for 'Advanced Settings' in the left pane then go to the 'Advanced' tab. 'Startup and Recovery' is at the bottom, select 'Settings'.

You can configure how Windows boots from there.

Also, you might want to look at the following for additional, advanced options.

Start>Run type 'msconfig' and go to the 'Boot' tab. Configure it how you like from there.

You're welcome. Thank you for the rep but - change comes from within.
