    cannot accociate extension .BOM with progran


    I need to associate .BOM with OrCad. When I choose Associate a file type or protocol with a Program from Default Programs, I get a list of extensions and programs. However .bom does not appear in the list and OrCad does not either.
    How do I do the association?

    right-click on a .bom file, select "Open with"... "choose default program
    ..." browse to the Orcad executable.

    Open With - Change Default Program

    ...and don't forget to check the box at the bottom right that reads "Always use the selected program to open that kind of file"

hello :) I have two 2GB files in My Documents with the extension .gi, which I think might stand for global image or similar. I can't open them and want to know what they are so that I can delete them and recover the space if they are not essential. Any ideas please? I wondered if they might be...
I have a .cab file in a program that I would like to view and change but every method I have used has failed so far. Any ideas. The programes I have sed so far are, MS Command > expand, WinRar, 7-Zip, ZipScan and CabExplorer
