    Screen orientation on laptop

    Hello everyone,

My weimaraner recently pressed something on on the keyboard of my Dell Studio 1737 (Win 7 Ultimate 64bit), and now each time Windows loads it loads with the login screen sidways. I have to change the orientation each time, but how to I reset it?

    Thanks,

I would imagine you have to click on the desktop -> screen resolution -> orientation and choose the one you want. If it does not work, try doing it using the administrator account (Built-in Administrator Account - Enable or Disable). The only other option would be if this is controlled by the video card or if you have on-board video controller, then by Intel video driver. Then you would go through that driver properties.

Start> Control Panel> Display> In the left column click Change Display Settings. This window below opens. Under resolution see the Orientation curtain in yellow circle of picture?
Make it landscape click Apply bottom right.

    Done.
