    startup program problem

hi. i have a problem with my startup programs. i've just installed the same version of windows that i had till now. the problem is that it won't run one of my shotcuts in the startup folder. it's the connection to the internet. it used to work, i just drag and dropped it in the startup folder in startup menu. does anyone have any ideas? i use tuneup utilities as well, i thought that's the problem, but it doesn't even appears in the startup program list. please help

If it is in the startup folder, it should run. Maybe the shortcut is no good and lost the path. Suggest you make a new shortcut, then type shell:startup into the Start/search box and hit enter. Then drag the new shortcut into the startup folder that appears. Delete the old one if it still there.
