Well like i said, these builds are more bug fixes then anything. There are few changes, but they are not major.

Only a "Wow Change" (7100 vs 7227): Speed more, there was a excellent speed increase.
And from 7100 to 7229 the I.E. downloads are much more faster.
I am not saying there isin't a Speed Increase using 7227. just trying to figure out how you have actually determined that it is a Wow change......
I just don't see Microsoft not incorporating such a Wow change into a later build....
It is not a Wow change as far as I am concerned without proof....and typing it in a post isn't proof....
But testing a build with SP1 is a proof enough.
If someone have currently Windows 7 7227 installed can make some benchmarks and much more?
If not, next builds will probably (I hope) include SP1 and all Windows Seven Forums users can have that awesome experience.
They have to do some tests, so they created two builds, one with SP1 and one without (yes, there are two 7227 builds) and Microsoft had to decide if RTM will have SP1 or no.
If we don't see SP1 in the next builds, probably Windows 7 will be launched without SP1 and may be it will be released after some time (and improvements of course).
May be this is also a "game" played by Microsoft, because Windows Vista had much more success after SP1 (I'm talking of the Windows Vista on the computers of business companies)
I believe they did the whole SP1 to make sure that it was compatibility and when updating it after SP1, that it didn't break the system. Just like MS released all those test updates, it is just good planning for MS. I don't see how a SP can truly be a SP before the OS is even out.
OK can i report ONE bugfix? (that i reported probably 2-3 times). Office Live-Addin (or addon) actualy dont crash after you close some office program! Wohoo! one annoying bug to go, 3 remains (and if they are not fixed...)!
Hi all
I missed this topic - but I've definitely found some problems with build 7229 which didn't exist in build 7100 or later builds up to and including 7137.
2 Probs with build 7229 (X-64)
Cheers
