    black background


    Hello all,
    i am trying to fix windows 7.
    first it said i was not valid and so i purchased ultimate thru microsoft.
    the invalid part has gone away but now the desktop background will only do colors.
    The aero themes or pictures will not show up as a background.

    I hope i added all my info (as stated in the rules post) correctly.

    Help is GREATLY appreciated.

Just got a refurbished Dell desktop, and transferred my WLM email from my old HP. It all arrived OK except for my contacts, but there is a black empty place about two inches wide above my messages. I can't make it go away. Any ideas?
i have some basic problems with my windows... i cant read of them because the colors of the text and the background are the same at some places -_- (almost every control panel thing i open has this issue) i have tried advanced appearance settings but that doesnt seem to apply to these windows...
