    win7 wakes up by itself


    hi all!
    how can i find out why my win7 wakes up from standby every morning after 6 o'clock? i was thinking the event viewer might help here - but i do not really know what to look for. any ideas?

    ok. i use microsoft security essentials. malewarebytes unscheduled.
    windows7 64bits
    what else can i do to bring up more info for the forum?

    Hello Markus,

    You can use the lastwake command to see what last woke up your computer when it wakes up like that next to hopefully find out what the cause is.
