How to protect Files and folders?

    Hello!
Are there any way to make folders undeletable? Are there any software for that?

You can either use an encrypting freeware solution like Trucrypt- what that does is to create a locker into which you can move all the files/folders you want to hide, then lock the locker with a password. Or you can create multiple users on the computer, then restrict permissions on folders so only particular users such as yourself can see them.

Depends on what you really mean by the word "undetectable".

    1. There is way to lock folders with password and make them invisible with and without using software.

    2. There is way to hide a drive completely with or without software.

    3. There are software available to delete files so that they gets undetectable.

However, there are ways to recover data even from them. Many Government agencies relies on physical destruction of hard drives to make impossible to recover sensitive data from them.

    Please specify your need :)

open command prompt; type the following command:

    Code:
    attrib +s +a filepath\filename
Change the "file path" and "file name". Hit enter. Done.

I run CMD normal and also run as administrator.
