    New Folder Problem

I can't seem to create any new folders anymore.
I right click on the desktop and go to New>Folder, and all I end up with is a blank paper icon. Please help. This is so frustrating.

Does it work from the 'Organise bar' by clicking the new folder button? Also Try this. Though its for vista but should work with 7 too.

If above solution even doesn't work, try system restore.

    Hello Stimpson,

Downloading and merging the Folder and Directory options in the tutorial below should be able to fix this for you. They will restore the default associations for them including "New Folder".

Default File Type Associations - Restore

    Hope this helps,
