Windows 7 - Icon Help: Icons missing and replaced with Illustrator File Icon

Hey, I've been coming to this forum for a while now since I set up my Windows 7 system, the tutorials here are fantastic, and have helped me customized Windows 7 just the way I want it!

except just after the last couple of days, I noticed that a few of the icons in the start menu were missing, and replaced with what looks like an Adobe Illustrator file icon, and when I open the program, it also shows the Illustrator icon on the task bar :S

I was just wondering if any of you might know what would cause something like this, and I greatly appreciate any help that is given

You might see if rebuilding the icon index may be able to fix it for you.

It might be worth checking your pdf file association settings as well.
