Release To Manufacturing.

Generally it means the product is complete, and is ready to be mass produced for both OEM and Retail sales.

If you want to know, OEM stands for "Original Equipment Manufacturer"

The latest official release is build 7100. Leaked builds are somewhere around about 7200. I don't keep track of leaked builds, as I'm a sucker for sticking to only official releases from Microsoft.

RTM should be sometime in July, to give OEMs time to create the system images they use when building computers. From there, the currently accepted GA (General Availability) date is 22 October 2009, when we can expect to see Windows 7 in retail packaging on store shelves.
