| | Sidebar Doesnt Autostart The sidebar doesnt seem to autostart anymore. :| Any idea where the settings are? |

| | I believe there is no more sidebar in Windows 7. Right-click your desktop and then choose "Gadgets" to get what you want. They just stay right on your desktop now. Makes the aero-peek function pretty useful. I think I read somewhere that someone was able to get sidebar back, but I don't really see the point. |

| | I know, but the process is still called sidebar.exe Thats why i referred with the name " Sidebar " . The gadgets used to open up themselves but now they dont!  |

| | Hello Abhimanyu, Do you have UAC turned on or any gadgets selected for the desktop? If so try selecting them again to add them to see if that helps. Shawn |

Maybe i shld ask this here, Yesterday i used the windows Cd writing app to write a cd. Now evrytime i loggin it says you have files o be written on a disc. When i click on it,It says no cd found! Also im unable to delete the files. |

| | i know that.. im just trying to delete the files,without putting in an empty cd. Edit1: Wow! I just right clicked,delete temporary files. And it deleted. Yesterday i didnt have the admin privileges! :| Edit2: MY gadgets didnt start again. UAC is set to " Only Notify When Programs Makes Changes" . I have to right click and select gadgets for them to start. |
