I have a icon in control panel & it does nothing.

    Yes 379 issues I have never cleaned the registry in windows 7
    I have heard good & bad thing about doing it.

    Got it did the create shortcut again & to properties went to shortcut tab then the change icon button and looked where the icon was coming from.
    Well when I started this thread I had just changed some system files for a custom theme.
    It was the TimeDate.bak.cpl I renamed in C:\Windows\System32 & C:\Windows\SysWOW64 & removed them, the .cpl has something to do with the control panel.
