Help! Loss of eject option in context menu

Hi everybody.

I'm new to the forum, and only recently got a Windows 7 a week ago, but have had this problem occur to me many times before.

It seems that I have a curse that makes the eject option within my context menu disappear on me when i right-click the device that I want to disconnect. While I know that I can go to the system tray and disconnect the device there, I find it is more efficient to disconnect it from the "Computer" window itself.

My question is, is there any way to restore this option back into the context menu?

Also, it seems that this is only occurring for my external and portable hard drives.
