    typed history

When you click on start, there is a little box that you can type anything in. Is there a history of everything you have typed in that box?

Little box is called "search" and though there is a history it wont show there.

Thanks, but when I type less say "config" I don't see something that says I can save it for later use, as I forget words to type in search boxes that I will need later.

If you go to the start menu and choose "run", the search box will open and there will be a dropdown arrow next to it showing recent commands entered--such as regedit, msconfig, etc.

You can also just type "run" in the search box and it will bring up the same list.
