Mac style window cascade On mac's I find the most useful feature is being able to press the middle buttons of the mouse and see all the windows and be able to select them straight away, however on windows 7 one of the features I like is being able to have all you windows open shown side by side, however what i'd like to know is there a shortcut for this, or could I assign it to my center mouse button? | My System Specs |

Hi Tim,
You can just right click on the taskbar and check side by side, stacked or cascade.

Hello Tim and Welcome to the Seven Forums
I think what you are describing is the Exposé feature
There is a 3rd party add- on for Vista that claims to provide this functionallity
Available Here ... http://lifehacker.com/software/expos...sta-235893.php
Have not tried this but may also work in Windows 7
I personally use an add-on for Flip3D which is M$ version of Exposé which allows Hot corner or mouse activation of Flip3D ( I personally do not use the mouse activation but it does work, I find I need all the mouse buttons for other purposes)
The Add-on is Available here ... I have used the Expose for Vista in the past, was kind of buggy for me.
I never heard of 3d Flip activator, but installed it and I like it. Has anyone had problems with the 3d activator in the past? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Desktop & HP G60-120US OS Windows 7 Pro x64 & Win7 Pre x64 / Ubuntu 9.10 Beta CPU Q6600 Quad Core 2 - 2.4Ghz Motherboard EVGA - 680i SLI Memory 4GB Kingston DDR2 800 Graphics Card XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog Ed. Hi Iknewitwin7
I've been using Flip3D Activator for a few weeks now on both Vista and various flavours of Windows 7, (including 6801 x64), without any issues.
Only issue I've heard of with it is when someone set it to operate on a Left Mouse Button, and couldn't do anything that needed a left click , so you have to be careful when assigning Mouse buttons
Other than that it's all good
I use the top left corner "Hotspot" and find that wherever my mouse is I can switch windows quickly either using the task bar or Flip3D,
It's also great for showing off when someone's watching you | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Real World Computing (Me + a little help from Acer) OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 + x86 + Windows 8 x64 CPU AMD Phenom II X6 1035T 2.6 GHz Motherboard Aspire M3400 Memory 4Gb PC10600 DDR3 1333 MHz Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce 315 512MB Sound Card OnBoard - Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays Philips 32" HDTV, (HDMI) + 26" TV (VGA) Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 @60Hz + 1360 x 768 @60Hz Keyboard Microsoft Wireless 800 or Stock Acer, (depends where I sit) Mouse Microsoft Wireless 800 or Stock Acer, (depends where I sit) PSU Stock (400W) Case Acer M3400 Cooling Stock Hard Drives 500 GB Seagate ST3500418AS SATA II
