Possible Brightness Bug
Hello everyone, first post.
A new problem started about two weeks ago with my display brightness. I had been on my computer for a few minutes and I had made my way to Wikipedia. I had noticed however that my screen seemed noticeable dimmer than normal (note: I am on a desktop, not a laptop, so no automatic brightness changes). Wikipedia's white background was actually dimmer than my mouse.
My mouse's brightness was unaffected, whether at the edge of the screen or the center. Also, restarting and even just logging off and back on of Windows 7 corrects the issue.
It has only happened twice, today being the second time.
