Working on a tutorial now on how to this at the link below. It has been tested and works perfectly. It should be done here shortly. :)
Zip Folders - Enable or Disable Windows Explorer View
EDIT:
It's done. :)

Well, it worked after I went through the entire registry and deleted every instance of {0CD7A5C0-9F37-11CE-AE65-08002B2E1262} after taking ownership of the cab and zip things.
Now if I could just get rid of that anoying task bar popup with all the windows for each program that is open in it with the X to close any of them. I hate that thing.
Talking about the thumbnails on the taskbar?
That box I pointed to in the picture
"Well it worked after..." blah blah blah
Is that the best you can thank some one for there hard work and time???
I usually will avoid any kind of even inference to confrontation, but tannim, you seem to not even be thankful, but upset at the necessary steps needed to set your personal preference.
Shawn (Brink) took time out of his busy life to find a solution to YouR Personal Preference (Not a problem) and made a tutorial for all to use, but specifically cause you asked and you tannim don't even Thank him???
In fact in the same post stating you got what you wanted you bring up another personal preference that you want help customizing.
I suggest a little appreciation in the future if you want help here. Its not just about taking, its about helping each other out and being grateful for the time people put in, whether or not a solution was even reached. No one here owes any one anything, remember that.
Thank you brink, for the solution. It had been frustrating me for a long while.
I should indeed have said that earlier.
I just use 7-zip for all archives, but I am sure you are looking for a native way in Windows w/o 3rd party apps.
