    Removing Language Files

Hi there, I was hoping someone would be able to help me remove unwanted language files in Windows 7. On OSX a great little utility called 'Monolingual' exists that scans your HD and removes languages that you will never, ever use, sometimes saving GB's worth of space.

Does such a utility exist for Windows? Does the operating system allow for this to be done?

I did search the forums for this, but couldn't find a suitable answer, my apologies if I have missed a previous thread.

    Many thanks.

Remove unused language packs in Win7

As I use only my native language Spanish, when some of the first updates asked to be downloaded and installed I had the chance to unselect about 46 language packs that I would never use, I did so and never again those language packs appeared to be downloaded and installed. If you have auto installed updates go to Start Menu / Windows Update / Updates historial / Check Updates historial / Installed Updates, there you look for the language packs and right click on each one and you'll have the "unistall" option. This is the way I used to uninstall a wrong update already installed. So, try this and hope be useful. Regards.
