I haven't been able to resolve this issue. I have my regular thumbnail icons but i also have a smaller default icon attached to all of my desktop shortcuts. Not folders made or files saved to the desktop/. Just on shortcuts. Here is a picture any help is appreciated. thanks.

Hi, Blueclipse28, welcome to the Seven Forums! :)

The "little" icons should be short cut arrows:

SledgeDG, you beat me to it. I was just about to edit and provide the link you provided in addition to the one I presented initially. Good job! :)

    Thank You!

Thanks for the info and regardless of who was first, you both were extremely timely. I did the dishes and had my answers. I should have done this weeks ago instead of procrastinating the entire time ha. Again thanks for the info. I will try it soon and repost with the results. Please continue to have a safe Holiday Season!
