Yes, that is what I said. I have IE9 64 bit. Silverlight and Adobe both had problems with that. So I run them on FF. It solved my problem and I noticed that many other people are having the same problem. So I wanted to offer a solution that I found.
I don't know how to switch to IE93 2 from IE9 64 without purchasing a new program for $100. I tried and looked in many forums for an answer. I was just offering a solution that I found and it was on topic. That is how I found this thread.
IE9 32 bit is the default, IE9 64 bit is not. You should have them both installed:
Unfortunately, none of this is helping the OP with his issue so I'll leave you to figure out the differences between IE9 32 bit and IE9 64 bit and the default program that runs when you click on the standard IE9 icon - hint: it's not the 64 bit version. This has already been discussed here in more than a few threads.
Stick around, Alder, nice to have you here. :)
I have tried reaper, and it's not for me. Pro tools have some unique plug-ins that i simply love and can't live without :P
BriceH: I can't really say i know what you are talking about, is there somewhere i can read an guide or something to get some kind of understanding for what that is?
Thank you all for your replies and inputs!
I would suggest uninstalling Pro Tools, doing a little cleanup (with CCleaner if needed) and then reinstalling it in XP or Vista compatibility mode, depending on which OS the software has on its Minimum Requirements list.

If there is a 64 bit version of Pro Tools install that. (I may be confused here due to your x86/x64 post)
IE? FF?
