Windows 7 - w7 build 7260 leak

FYI: The modifying of the cversion.ini file only makes it possible to do an upgrade install of the RTM from an RC install. It does not also make it possible to use the RC keys to activate the RTM, which is why the RC keys didn't work for you.

For myself, when the RTM comes out, I'm probably going to clean install the version I pre-ordered right away and use it as a trial, rearming as necessary until the key I pre-ordered becomes available to me at which point, I will attempt to do an upgrade install to legally activate with the key I purchased.

Ah, that explains it then. I was sure I hadn't made a mistake but it wouldn't activate so I figured I must have done.
I must have misunderstood in the first place.

what is the correct md5 for build 7260???
ive been searchin all over the internet and seems like it's a little harder to find for this one.
maybe b/c i keep finding that its original file is a vhd???
i'm d/ling 2 iso's right now so if anyone has this build md5 info please help, thanks!

Hey Chaytik, they released build 7264. I would just wait for the RTM. If I were you.

Akaik the 13th is still the date.
As far as RTM it should be available to technet in the second half of this month and it will be leaked very soon after that at the least. It could be that it's leaked before technet.
I'm actually pretty chill about when we get the RTM as i have a new hangout spot

haha, yea that's exactly what i've been doin is just waitin for this next leak, and seein what we gotta do w/ the activation.
I just don't feel like spending hrs trying to re-arm it every now and then so was just planning on one more clean install to possibly build 7260
