    RTM and Availability

If windows 7 goes RTM in june and supposed to be released in general public in October, when would Technet and MSDN subscribers be able to download it?

    June?

Aren't most if not all of the leaks coming from subscribers?

even if the RTM isn't until July, i was wondering when MSDN gets the RTM version. The leaks are not actually coming from MSDN, msdn only has RC1. the leaks are supposedly coming straight from Microsoft.

If that is true, I will be stalking that page.......

I have a sub, and so do enough people here that when it hits Technet, you will know within about 5 to 10 minutes.

A recent (two weeks ago) MS blog post indicated they expected RTM to "partners" by the second half of July:

    http://windowsteamblog.com/blogs/win...dows-7-is.aspx

It's not clear if this includes MSDN/Technet though, or if it would simply be other "partners" like their TAP program.

Of course Snow Leopard was announced a week after that post as well, and it's sounded like MS has accelerated things a bit as a result....
