    Roll over effect

Sometimes while surfing, when I roll over a picture or link it opens that link without me doing anything. Can that be adjusted so that I have to "Enter" or clink to go to a link, etc. Thank you for any assistance.

Welcome to Seven Forums katbird. 1st thing to look for:

Mouse Hover Makes Window Active - Enable

Start> In search box type Ease of access> Enter> Make the mouse easier to use> Under Make it easier to manage windows> Uncheck Activate a windows by hovering over it with the mouse

    Roll over effect-ease.jpg

If it's already unchecked, are you using single click to open links? Try this:

Open any folder> Organize in upper left> On drop down menu that opens> Folder and search options> General tab> Click items as follows> Check box next to Double-click to open an item (single-click to select)

    Roll over effect-folder-options.jpg

Apply and OK your way out

See if either address your problem. Let us know. A Guy

    Is your computer a laptop?
Are you using a touch pad?
Is Tap enabled in the touch pad properties?
