Second taskbar can't be separated from the main one

    Hi there,
Can anybody help me install the second taskbar and put it on the left or top side of the desktop? It's possible to create a new taskbar but if you want to move it, it moves together with the Main taskbar. How shall I solve this issue?

I can't answer your question, but I'm curious what the advantage of a second taskbar is?

For me, a 2nd taskbar would be great! I for one, like to have a ton of functions available on my Desktop, so that I can get to whatever I need with one click. The same for my IE. This whole trend of "simplifying" the screen so that there are fewer functions available on the screen may look 'pretty' -- but to me it substantially decreases the functionability of the screen.

    Maybe "Objectdock" might help

And while you're on the Stardock website, be sure to check out their Fences, which could be another option for you.

I do not like to have lots of icons on the screen. I created 3 taskbars in Win XP and made them Autohide. Very handy. But unfortunately not for Windows 7, I believe.
