a few questions about jump lists

1. dragging a folder from explorer to explorer's taskbar icon lets you pin that folder to the jump list. BUT - this only works if you have MRU's enabled. if you turn them off, you can't pin folders there. already pinned folders still show up, but new ones cannot be pinned. does this make sense to anyone?

2. has anyone found a way to rename the a folder that is pinned to a jump list without renaming the actual folder?

3. will 3rd party apps be able to add custom commands to jump lists? i would love to see media players and file managers take advantage of them, but i don't know if this is open for development.

thanks!
