File with my first name in "Users" folder

About a week ago, a file with my first name has been created in the "Users" folder. (my name is the one that appears as the computer owner and administrator) This is something that I've never seen before and I want to delete it.

The file has no extension and it's bugging me a bit.

    Any input? Thanks.

Right click on the file, choose properties at the bottom. What is the path? Post a screenshot of the file and the properties. Do you have windows set to not hide file extensions?

Exact location of the file? Upload that file to VirusTotal - Free Online Virus, Malware and URL Scanner
I sometimes too have a file named as my <username>.contact, happens when I synchronize my phone with the pc.

Thanks for the fast response; I do have both known and unknown extensions showing in folders.

I also took a quick screen:

Virus Total showed 0 results, which I suppose is good.:)

Should it be safe to delete? I never seen such a thing before; and while it wouldn't be much of a hassle to leave it there, it does bug.

You first delete them to the recycle bin. If something goes wrong, restore the file. If everything remains ok, you can delete them.By the way, have you tried opening that file with notepad?

You can safely delete that. It was just a change of a file, not an actual file. You can make a copy somewhere as a backup, but I don't think you'll need it. A Guy

Ah! That's interesting. Do you've inbuilt or dongle-d bluetooth? Whenever I insert my bluetooth dongle, Bluetooth Personal Area Network appears. Try disabling that in device manager.
